Three vines varieties, three characters, one strong Sicilian identity
Daino wines are born from the cultivation of three Sicilian indigenous grapes - Nero d'Avola, Frappato and Alicante, farmed organically and vinified for the maximum expression of the territory.
The vineyard immersed in the extraordinary biodiversity of the Bosco di Santo Pietro, is cultivated in absolute respect for the environment. It is crucial for us to preserve our territory and at the same time guarantee the quality of our wines. All our work aims at enhancing our land, using local resources. For instance, our corks are obtained from the cork oaks of the wood surrounding the vineyard. This is why Daino wines are so representative of our land. All of our wines tell a story. Suber
In the very heart of Sicily, between the plain of Gela and the plain of Catania, lies the city of Caltagirone, in the province of Catania. This is the region that gave birth to the Suber wine, made from an indigenous, organically-grown grape variety. The wine has a distinct flavour and a strong, yet elegant, character, qualities that derive from a special combination of terrain and climate.
